Interested in joining ACEMS?
It's far from "easy" to call yourself a member of Anderson County Emergency Medical Services. We pride ourselves in delivering the best and most advanced prehospital care currently available. Our employees are hard working, dedicated individuals that often go above and beyond what is required of them to ensure our system operates efficiently. In addition, our employees are required to maintain a rigorous continuing education requirement on an annual basis. However, much of this training is provided free of charge and employees often have the opportunity to attend specialty training events and seminars.
Our employees are encouraged to continue their education while working at Anderson County EMS. As an EMT, after a probationary period, the service will assist you educationally and financially in your Paramedic studies. As a Paramedic, opportunities are also available to attend a Critical Care Paramedic course. Though full time employment is not always available, we are always looking for qualified persons to join our service on a part time basis. We offer competitive full and part time wages, great benefits, paid vacation, paid personal time, paid holidays, and the opportunity to develop and grow as a prehospital provider.
